Puppy Contract Information

   All puppies born here are properly socialized with us,our children and grandchildren and given tender loving care from birth in our heated whelping rooms right here in our home.

  All of our puppies go to their new homes with our own Alzimm Puppy care kit.Included are the following:
1)   AKC registration papers
2)   First vet visit,shots and wormings record
3)   Sire & Dame's pedigrees
4)   A one year written health and hip guarantee (can be expanded to puppy's 3rd birthday!)
5)   Limited AKC registration or full AKC (breeding rights-show) registration
6)   Puppy care tip sheet.
7)   Food Sample
8)   Copies of Purchase Contract and Receipt
9)   A special little Puppy Blankie
10) Nu Vet plus Sample
11) Puppy's collar
11) Lots of love,attention and socializing with our granbabies and ourselves.
12) Some extra little surprises to make your puppy's going home trip special.


  We do our best to provide good,healthy,intelligent,puppies for your many years of future enjoyment and like wise expect these puppies to have a safe and loving home to grow up in.A safe kennel with proper shelter while outside and/or a fenced in yard or run area is prefered for your puppy's safety and well being.

We do not approve of or use any shock collars,invisible fencing,or believe in hitting or  abusing puppies or dogs to correct them.We can not understand why anyone would want to cause pain to their best friend.

We do ,however,recommend the books and direction of Cesar Millan (The Dog Whisperer) as we find his training practices to be fast,effective,and wonderful in handling dogs and puppies.We get many compliments on behaviour from our vet at visits there and from the public when out and about with our guys and gals.

                    The Monks of Skeet/Skete also have wonderful puppy training methods.

We also understand that sometimes things happen and a beloved pet has to change homes. We ask that you contact us to work something out or find a safe loving home for him/her before placing your best friend in a shelter or dog pound.

             We now offer Full and limited registrations to keep costs as effective as we can for you.

      Puppies are reserved and considered in pick order according to when spoken for and paying of deposits.

                However, we reserve the choice of holding back our first pick male/female from any litter.

Please contact us as early as you can for future litter information as most times our litters are almost or completely sold before birth.We carry a continuing waiting list due to the high demand of our quality puppies.

    Sophies, Nabiri's and Furia's next litters already have deposits paid down on them.Thanks everyone !!!

        Please read carefully : Due to the large demand on our litters and to be fair with everyone concerned:

               Our puppy deposit policies have been changed for 2010 litters !

All puppies require a $150.00 (Refundable) deposit to hold your puppy.

                                 To reserve a puppy BEFORE Birth

        A $50.00 ( REFUNDABLE) deposit is requested to be held on our waiting list

    We ALWAYS Refund 100% of your Deposit if We don't get the puppy you requested !

                                      To Reserve a puppy After Birth :

  If the $50.00 deposit has not been previously placed, The deposit total will be $150.00

  We will refund $100.00 of the total $150.00 deposit that was paid down to hold a puppy (when the litter is sold) should you decide to cancel or will place the full amount on a future litter if you so request.

                                     About Puppy Going Home day

     We understand that you are most excited to see the puppies but due to health,insurance and safety issues ,We do not open our nursery until the puppies have had their first shots and are ready to go to their new homes.We are happy to email you litter pictures as the litter developes and we do keep updated pictures on our website as they grow.

   At approximately 7 to 8 weeks of age,when the puppies are fully weaned and their 6 week shots have had some time to take effect,we set up appointments in picking /deposit order and will be happy to have you come and pick up your puppy.You may also meet the parents at the time you get your puppy.

   We arrange appointments on Saturday and Sunday between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm. in picking order,so, please keep this in mind when planning to visit.

   In the event that you are unable to be here for your appointment time,you may either choose your puppy by pictures and temperament information by email or you may choose to go lower on the choosing order.

   Please be considerate in keeping your puppy pick up date with us.We have others that drive a long distance and need to be able to pick their puppy also.Sorry but we can not ask others to wait who are as excited to get their puppy as you are.We do our best to be as fair to all as we can.
     
    We do charge a 5.00 per day fee to hold a puppy past the appointment day until you pick him/her up.This fee is non refundable.


  We accept personal checks and money orders for deposits but only cash for the remaining balance when your puppy is picked up.

We also ask that you do not visit other kennels on the same day that you visit us and please don't be offended if we ask you to dip your shoes or remove them.Our goal is to protect the puppies and keep them all healthy for everyone.

    We do not use spay /neuter contracts. We believe that is your personal right (along with your vet) to choose what's best for your puppy.

            However,we do recommend that pets be spayed or neutered to make a better family companion.

                             In order to guarantee your puppy,

We require that you have your puppy checked by your own Licensed Veterinarian within 3 days (72 hours) of pick up date.This is for the benefit of all involved and gives your Vet a starting point to get to know your puppy and to be able to look at his/her shot /vet records to set your puppy's next appointment. Most other breeders only allow 48 hours.

  This is why we back up every Alzimm puppy with our own written hip/health guarantee.

  We have come to understand that early development which includes good care, lots of love and attention and quality feeding of both sire and dame along with the same care being passed down to their babies gives the babies the best start possible.

We never send them out then bring them back to "use" them for breeding when "beneficial to us" either.
